美国服务员底薪很低（有些州只有 $2-3/小时），小费是他们的主要收入，不给等于让人白干。
德国完全不同：服务员有正常的最低工资（€13.90/小时）、社保和带薪假期。Trinkgeld 是一种表示满意的礼节——你不给，服务员不会追出来，也不会给你脸色。
